Who are Menopause Solutions?

Menopause Solutions provides comprehensive support for women navigating menopause in the workplace. We offer personalised, one-to-one consultations, educational seminars, and specialised training workshops for employers. Our team consists exclusively of General Practitioners with advanced expertise in menopause care.

How can we provide tailored menopause support for your workplace?

Every business has unique needs when it comes to supporting menopause in the workplace. We work closely with your HR team to develop bespoke packages that align with your organisation’s goals, ensuring tailored support for your employees.

What are the costs associated with our services?

We offer a premium quality service delivered by experienced doctors who specialise in menopause care. Unlike many support agencies, our team brings extensive clinical expertise to ensure the highest standards of care. Our pricing is structured to reflect this level of professionalism while remaining competitive and adaptable to meet the unique needs of your business.

What information will I receive after my consultation?

Following your appointment, your clinician will send a letter to your registered email address. This letter will provide an outline of the consultation including recommendations and useful resources. You can bring this letter to your NHS or private GP who can prescribe medications and request investigations.

Do employees need to pay for their HRT prescription?

Employees can liaise with their GP or their private GP in order to obtain their HRT prescription. We recommend liaising with their NHS GP as this is more cost effective due to the HRT prepayment certificate. This certificate costs £19.80 and will cover all your eligible HRT prescriptions for that period.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

To make the most of your time with us, we recommend setting aside one hour for your appointment and finding a quiet, private space where you feel comfortable discussing your health.

Before your appointment, please complete our online questionnaire (SEMBLE LINK HERE ONCE CREATED), which covers your medical history, current symptoms, and any medications you’re taking. Completing this thoroughly will help us tailor the session to your needs, as one of our specialists will review it prior to your consultation.

Can my GP receive a copy of my consultation?

Yes, we can provide your GP with a comprehensive letter following your consultation. At Menopause Solutions, our extended consultation time allows us to provide a detailed summary that complements your GP’s shorter appointment slots. This helps ensure continuity of care and supports your GP in managing your ongoing treatment effectively.

What happens if I need further input from a Gynaecologist?

We understand that every patient is different and some patients may have a more complex history which requires ongoing management from a specialist. We can identify this during our consultation and discuss GP referral to secondary care or referral to a private specialist for ongoing management. Our aim is to provide a comprehensive, specialist consultation so that women are informed about their ongoing menopause journey and how to navigate the next step.

Where can I find more information after my consultation?

Our website hosts a comprehensive resource library, filled with evidence-based information leaflets and videos covering key aspects of menopause care. These resources are designed to support you both before and after your appointment, ensuring you have accurate and accessible information throughout your journey. Following your consultation, your clinician will provide a personalised list of recommended resources in your clinic letter to help address your unique needs.
